Assembling Chocolate Roses Tutorial

You can save close to 1/2 off if you assemble these roses yourself.  Just get a party of bridesmaids together and have fun!!! Be very careful you do not burn yourself though, as glue can get very hot!  You'll need a two temperature glue gun for best results, and set it on low, and let it warm up. Yes.. I do sell the rosebuds you need for this tutorial.

Take any silk roses that you have purchased (The color of the rose does not matter)

Next Remove the silk head of the rose, and replace the calyx back onto the stem:

Glue bottom rosebud in a back and forth motion:

Quickly place the bottom rosebud underneath the stem, add the top Rosebud and squeeze together for a second or two, then set aside carefully to let it cool down:

Pull the calyx back up and hold it as close to the rosebud as possible.  Place a small dab of glue under the calyx so that it will not fall down from the rosebud once cool.  Hold for a few seconds while it cools.  (I hang mine upside down in a cupboard door... it holds it in place so that I can make the next one while the first one is cooling)

Voila... your finished rose!
