Tiger Butter Recipe
About 2 lbs White Candy Melts
1/2 lb. Milk Candy Melts
1 c. or so peanut butter (Smooth works best)
This recipe is too easy. There are no.. absolute amounts for
anything. What you do is take white chocolate candy melts from the bulk bin in your
grocery store, and smooth peanut butter.
Melt the White and Milk candy melts (Separately) over a double boiler, or
as I prefer, in the microwave on defrost setting (30% power), stirring every two to three
minutes until all melted.
Pour white candy melts into your electric mixer bowl, and add peanut
butter until it tastes WONDERFUL. (About 1 to 2 cups) and blend until smooth.
Pour into a cookie sheet, then drizzle the milk candy coating over it in
small lines. Run a knife thru the lines, two directions to make pleasing swirls.
Freeze for just a few minutes until it loses it's glossy look.
Score, then re-freeze for a few minutes until it is completely hard and loosens
from the cookie sheet easily.
You won't be able to keep this long, as kids will gobble it up.. but it
will freeze really well as long as it's well sealed if you want to keep it away from their
prying eyes until a later time. In 20 minutes you have a confection that it looks
and tastes like you spent hours over. |
